Blade Idle: Complete Insignia Guide

What are Insignias?

Insignias are magical stones that boost different aspects of your character. They unlock at stage 8-20. You have minor upgrades obtained through the insignias in the outer circle using colored fragments, then major upgrades from the Ancient Insignia in the middle which require Ancient Insignia Fragments.

Upgrading Insignias

To upgrade insignias on the outer circle, you must use a certain amount of colored fragments specific to the insignia you are upgrading.

All upgrades are additive, so if your Current Grade Mov Spd is 3% and the Next Grade is 1.5%, it is a 1.5% gain, not a loss.

ATK SPD – Red

Mov Spd & Exp – Yellow

CRIT & Gold – Green

SKILL – Purple

As you can see in the list, Movement Speed and Experience both share the same color yellow. This situation is the same for Crit and Gold sharing green.

Therefore you will be using more yellow and green than purple and red when upgrading all your insignias, which seems like a strange imbalance at first, but this is where merging fragments will come into play as explained in the next section.

Ancient Insignia (Merging Fragments)

To create Ancient Insignia Fragments, you must merge a collective amount of colored fragments.

Due to the insignia imbalance when upgrading outer ring insignias, as a general rule, I recommend that you use twice the number of Red and Purple fragments than Yellow and Green fragments.

Eg)

100 Red & Purple

50 Yellow & Green

As the level of your Ancient Insignia grows, the number of Ancient Insignia Fragments you need to upgrade it increases, and the success rate of creating Ancient Insignia Fragments decreases, so this process gets to get very expensive as you play into the late game.

The rewards are well worth it!

How to Obtain Colored Fragments

Similar to other dungeons in the game, you need to defeat enemies within a certain time limit and you need to keep yourself alive.

There are 2 waves of enemies to defeat which spawn sporadically around the room. If you keep dying throughout the dungeon try using defensive pets like the Troll.

These are the skills I recommend:
