Introduction

Grandzenka is an Idle RPG, Simulation where your main focus is to clear the highest stage possible at all times while upgrading your character’s weapons and armor.

There is a tonne of information on the game’s interface which may be overwhelming for a new player, so I want to make the start of this game easy to follow for beginners.

Complete All Tutorial Missions

Following and completing all tutorial quests will gain you a lot of rewards very quickly in the early game. They also help you find relevant information and menus that you will need to access later in the game, so you know where to find the information you need.

Clicking the mission will take you directly to the menu you need to find for easy access to help you complete the missions faster.

Click On Buttons That Have An Exclamation Mark

If a button has a red exclamation mark on it, it means that you are likely ready to receive a reward from that menu. This can be a daily check-in bonus or a free draw or a reward in the mail from the developers.

You never want to miss out on these rewards as you will likely receive diamonds so that you can summon more weapons to further boost your character’s power.

Which Items Should You Draw?

The draw priority should be as follows:

  1. Draw Weapons until level 7
  2. Draw Sheath until level 7
  3. Draw plugs until level 7 (Once your character is level 130)
  4. Draw Weapons until level 9
  5. Draw Sheath until level 9
  6. Draw plugs until level 9

Follow this draw order strictly. This means that your weapon draw level can be 7 and your sheath can still be at level 1.

Which Ability/Power Levels Should I Focus On?

The general ability and power level priority should be:

  1. Power of Hero (ATK)
  2. Attack Focus (CRIT Rate)
  3. Strike Focus (CRIT DMG)
  4. Slash Training (Attack Speed, ASPD)
  5. Booster On (Movement Speed, MSPD)
  6. Health Training (Hp)
  7. Gold Focus (Gold Acquisition)

Once you unlock Hero’s Wrath(%) and Hero’s Wrath DMG in the ‘Power’ tab, you then want to focus on putting your resources in those.

Equipment Guide

Your weapons and sheaths have various effects that can be applied to your character. They come in the form of:

  • Equipped effects
  • Owned effects
  • Promot Effect
  • Set effect

Promote vs Combine

As a general rule, you want to promote all of your equipment whenever to receive permanent stat bonuses for your character. You only want to combine equipment when you have not unlocked the next grade item.

If you have an SSS4 weapon and you have no unlocked SSS3 yet, you can combine your current SSS4 weapons to receive SSS3, otherwise, you want to save your SSS4 weapons for promotion.

Equipped Effects

Equipped effects are the stats that are applied to your character when you have that particular item equipped and are removed when you equip another item

Owned effects

Owned effects are stats applied to your character by simply owning a piece of equipment. You do not need to have the item actively equipped to receive its stat bonuses.

Promote Effects

All equipment items can be promoted if you have ‘x’ number of the same item. Similar to owned effects, you do not need to equip the item to receive the promotion stats. The promotion comes in several steps (levels). You need to consume more of the same item for every step that you achieve.

Example

Step 1 requires 5 of the same item.

Step 2 requires 25 of the same item.

Set Effects

Set effects are obtained when you have unlocked a weapon and sheath of the same grade. These effects are shared by the 2 items.

Set effects also have a step level which is increased when you promote both items. The step level of the set effect is determined by the lowest level promotion item.

Example

If you have obtained an S4 sheath and weapon, you will unlock their set effects.

Which Skills Should You Use?

When deciding which skills you want to use, it is always important to use skills with the lowest cooldown so that you are using them more often, until your higher-tier skills are at a much higher level.

Lower-tier skills are very easy to promote and can become powerful quickly, plus they are great for farming again due to their low cooldown so they will always be a useful upgrade.

Prioritize upgrading active skills over passive skills as they will boost your CP more, allowing you to clear higher stages and gain more rewards.

Which Mech Should You Use?

All mechs have owned stats, so you want to upgrade them all to add power to your character. When deciding which mechs you want to upgrade first, you should always prioritize upgrading the first mech you start with!
