Which Heroes Should I Buy With Gems?
Best heroes change in meta from time to time. A lot of data is formulated in the POND Discord Server in the ‘charts-n-data’ channel in the Guides section, including the current season’s hero tier list. View our tier list if you want to view a general current tier list. Placing God-Tier units in a team will not work.
What Is the Best Way to Get New Heroes?
There are a few ways to get heroes:
Find them in the daily shop for 149 gems
Open scrolls for a % chance to unlock them at random.
You can unlock Mara and Jol by completing chapters 2 and 5.
Open a “New Hero Scroll” that will guarantee a new hero drop when opened. (If you own all heroes, then you will get 150 tokens instead for a random hero)
Important Note
Open the scrolls in sets of 4 to get the 2x bonus on the 4th scroll. This bonus resets with the daily reset, so aim for 4 at a time.
DO NOT SPEND GEMS TO BUY SCROLLS!!!
I’m a New Player. Where Do I Invest My Gold?
Invest gold in the following order of priority:
Altars, make sure they are leveled up with your account level.
Heroes to level 8. Heroes get their 2nd perk unlocked at level 8, which can give an excellent spike to their damage and performance.
Relics as you unlock slots. Look to replace your starter relics with better ones from PvP or PvE. Most relics are useless. However, you can farm better relics throughout later corruption chapters. Check ⁇ relics for detailed guides on this.
You can focus on getting heroes up to level 11 and beyond at this stage.
Is X Hero Useful? How’s X Hero?
This is always a tricky question. Watching Mol Mahashay’s videos will help you understand the strengths and weaknesses of many heroes. There is a Meta, and there are also other players who have devotion to particular heroes. This question not only instigates conflict between certain players and rips the fun out of the build, but also restricts the imagination of combinations.
The end game of this game is to max all heroes, so no heroes are being useless and such, only if they are in meta. Visit the POND Discord Server, where you can check tier lists in or discuss with others in 💁build-suggestion to see what is in Meta at the moment and focus on those heroes.
I Can’t Clear X Chapter, What Do I Do?
Each chapter is unique with its monsters and mechanics. Most of the time, you might have to modify builds to clear chapters properly. There is no “one perfect way.”

The Attack Buff From Relic Isn’t Applied at 100%?
I have a Hansi base attack 18, with a red buff from relic 45, yet when she attacks a Corrupt Goblin, each arrow only deals 41 dmg instead of 63.
Reason
((Base dmg x Num of attacks) + Red buff) / Num of attacks = Dmg per arrow
Equation: (18*2+45)/2 = 40.5 (rounded to 41).
This equation works for heroes that attack multiple times in one single attack.
Their equation wasn’t quite simple as a single addition but a total average per single attack.

What Are These Stones in the Event Shop?
Magic Combine Stone – This stone can be used as a crafting material when combining relics. It acts as a dummy bronze relic.
King Magic Combine Stone – It is the same as above. The difference is that only it replicates a silver relic so that you can combine T2 relics.
King God Magic Forge Stone – This stone can be used to forge relics. It acts as a dummy t4 relic and is probably one of the best items to buy from the event shop.

What is “Hero Lock”?
Hero lock refers to the five heroes that will never spawn during round 1 when a specific condition is met. For example, as long as fewer than 3 heroes are on the field, none of the five hero lock units will spawn.
Who Are the Five Hero for “Hero Lock”?

What Are Hero Lock Units Used For?
“Hero lock” makes the funneling strategy viable with the help of Insignia Relic. It also allows your rounds to have an early development to the main damage type hero so that you can clear enemy threats early on without worrying about the inability to deal with enemies.
What are King Tokens?
To level up heroes from 12->14 you’ll need:
Level 12: 150 hero tokens (+1k exp)
Level 13: 250 hero tokens (+1k exp)
Level 14: 350 hero tokens (+1k exp)
King Tokens can be used as Hero Tokens. They act like exp for heroes.
They can be converted into Hero Tokens for a specific hero of choice or into exp books.
As a rule of thumb, it’s better to save them so you can convert Hero Tokens and NOT into exp books, as you can earn exp books in many other ways.
Do Skins Give Any Stat Benefits?
Skins are purely for cosmetics and offer no additional stats to the heroes.
My Items Are Missing After Purchase/Exchange!
Please restart your app again and let your game refresh. The actions have likely been completed on the server-side, but the data has not transferred to your device yet, which means you just have to update your game as same as the server-side data, then it should be fine. You can sometimes see this when it is time for the daily reset, but your shop has not refreshed while you are still in-game.

How Does Alliance Supporting Work?
The Alliance support system is designed to help each other out. When a player asks for support for a hero, all other players in the Alliance can offer 2 units of support to him. When you offer help, you give hero exp points away from your stash to the other player.
You can offer a total of 2 supports to each player per day.
Upon offering support, you get a few gold coins as a reward.
It is always beneficial to all to ask and give support in any situation. So there is no real downside to this.
How Do You Use EXP Books?
Exp Books are used for leveling a hero. They can be converted to hero exp by clicking the hero you want to level up and pressing their exp bar. You will find the option to use the exp book from there.
Best Way to Get EXP Books?
There are multiple ways you can collect Exp Books:
Buying 10×3, 30 books per day from the daily shop.
Opening Common, King, and God scrolls have a chance to drop books.
Daily login reward.
Buy 100 books from Event shops per event.
Elite invasion gives 30 books per run (3 flags per run).
Buy them directly from the shop for IRL money.
How Many Books of EXP Can I Hold?
There seems to be no limit to the number of books you can stack at a time, so keep farming.
Best Way to Get King Tokens?
There are multiple ways to collect King Tokens:
King scrolls give 1 token/scroll, and god scrolls give 2/scroll.
Gain 30 tokens from Season pass rewards.
Exchange 30 tokens from the Raid shop for 2000 raid tokens.
The end of season PvP rank rewards gives tokens for ending in God+ tier (10 for God, 20 for King god, 30 for 3rd rank, 50 for 2nd rank, 70 for 1st rank).
How Does the Hero Levelling System Work?
There 4 options for leveling in King God Castle.
Use Book of EXP – Converts your exp books into hero exp.
Hero’s Tokens – Converts Hero’s Tokens into Hero exp (never worth unless you have over 750).
Convert King’s Token to EXP – Converts King’s tokens into Hero exp (never worth).
Coverts King’s Tokens to Hero Tokens – Coverts King’s Tokens in Hero Tokens (worth if you’re doing it 150 tokens at a time).
There are some points you should bear in mind when leveling your heroes:
You need 750 of a specific Hero’s Token to get from lv 11 -> lv 14
You get 150 of a specific Hero’s Token if you get a duplicate when opening a scroll.
Doing some simple math, you need 5 duplicates of a specific hero to get them to level 14.
What Is the Best Way to Farm Gold?
The answer is as simple as it gets, do the highest chapter you can at the greatest difficulty you can while clearing all 20 rounds. There is a detailed chat for gold gain per chapter per difficulty in 📊charts-n-data in the POND Discord Server or follow this link.
When will the Season Pass Skin be sold again?
You can obtain the King God Pass skin can by purchasing the King God Pass during the season.
You can purchase pass skins from the previous season with Gems. It is assumed that this sufficient period is at least half a year internally, but we will listen to users’ opinions and adjust if something is to be changed.

After I Buy the Skin, Do I Own the Hero?
Unfortunately, you don’t. You still need to acquire the hero from the daily shop for 149 gems or scrolls.
Another possibility to acquire a hero is from the Season Pass. After you buy the season pass, you get the chance to spend additional 149 gems to buy the hero. Of course, you’ll get the season pass skin for free.
