Inquisitor, Knight Statue and Scrapper decks have taken Rush Royale by storm since Scrapper was released in the game.

As a result, a variety of decks consisting of those 3 main units plus a large variety of 2 support units (Portal Keeper and Bombardier in this case).

What Makes This Deck So Strong?

Inquisitor itself is quite a powerful card. As it deals damage to the same unit, its damage will increase with every hit up to a maximum of 5x damage! Denoted by the 500% you can see in its info tab.

Coupled with the Attack speed increase from Knights Statue and bonus crit, Inquisitor can deal massive damage not only to the wave but also to bosses.

In some situations, if you are lucky, you can even defeat Tribunal before Tribunal takes out your units.

Bombardier is another Gem in this deck. It not only stuns bosses but it groups up units so that Inquisitors AoE (Area of Effect) attack can hit multiple monsters at once.

What Is the Best Equipment/Hero?

Gadget is a very strong hero if you can reach the later waves in the game. You receive a lot of damage from the tile bonus Gadget applies.

Trainer is a solid Hero if you have a decent number of levels on it. The extra attack speed on activation you get at level 5 and the permanent damage boost at level 10 are very welcome.

If you are struggling to survive the earlier waves in the game, Snowflake is a game-changer. This is especially useful if you get a first boss Tribunal so you can clear the first wave using the least number of units possible, saving you mana.

Staff is the best weapon until you upgrade a Spear to a high level. Robes are the best armor and amulet as usual.

Early Game

To my experience best starting board is having 1 Inquisitor, 1 Scrapper, and 4 other random units so that you can eat the rest and get your Inquisitor to both rank and mana level 2.

When you have it the thing you will do is wait till the boss and save up mana. When you have 1500-2000 mana you can start o fill up your board. Hopefully half the time you will have at least 4 Inquisitors, 2 Knight Statues, and Portal Keeper on your board when you fill it up.

However, if you are up against a Trickster, you may not reach the 1500 mana threshold before you need to spawn some more units as Trickster will steal your mana.

Tips For The First Wave

You don’t need your Bombardier, you can merge or scrap it if needed

You don’t need Knight Statue, you can merge or scrap it if needed

Increase your Inquisitor mana level to 2 for better dmg

Don’t use scrapper before the first wave, only merge when it is necessary

After You Kill Your First Boss

Hopefully, at this time you have your Inquisitors next to Knight Statues and a Scrapper and nothing else. This is the best scenario. Remember, with low levels this deck relies on decent luck. Don’t get discouraged if you can’t manage it at first.

Now, summon units 1 by 1 and scrap them with Scrapper for extra levels for your ladies in shining armor.

When Will You Mana Level Your Units?

I don’t have a foolproof answer for that but what I usually do is when the summoning cost is higher than the level-up cost, I go for levels. And when I get at least 2-3 rank 3 Inquisitors on board I max the Inquisitors.

When Will You Start Summoning Bombardiers?

If you have a rank 2 Bombardier on the board because of the merges you can keep it, but I don’t recommend keeping more than 1 on the board until you have decent ranks on your Inquisitors.

Try to have 1 Bombardier after the first boss and have the second after the third boss. 2 is enough don’t have more than 2 since it will clutter your board and soak up the precious level beads meant for your Inquisitor and Knight Statue.

How Do You Use Scrapper?

Scrapper is an interesting and strong unit but it is not perfect, you need to know some things about it.

Scrapper won’t level itself up.

Scrapper will change its shape before activating.

Scrappers don’t eat other Scrappers and might end up with another Inquisitor or Knight Statue which might mess up your board.

Try to have a rank 2 Scrapper on your board in case your board fills up with Scrappers.

If your Scrapper eats a unit that is going to be leveled up with a Scrapper bead that scrapper becomes level 2. Now, this is an important thing to know because you can use that trick to have a level 2 scrapper without risking having an extra Inquisitor or Knight Statue you can’t eat. So if you have more than 1 Scrapper try to do the following trick with the second one.

What to Do With Each First Wave Boss?

Tamer – Tamer is easy peasy. It doesn’t require extra caution. You can fill your board and level up your units with no worries for the first wave Tamer.

Gorgon – Gorgon is not a big threat to this deck. You can fill your board with no worries for the first wave Gorgon.

Puppeteer – Puppeteer might sometimes cause you problems so try not to mana level up your units before the first wave Puppeteer. You can fill your board with no worries for the first wave Puppeteer.

Bedlam – Bedlam might sometimes cause you problems with this deck so try not to merge your units before Bedlam activates unless you are confident that you can stun and kill him before he activates. You can fill your board and level up your units with no worries for the first wave Bedlam.

Warlock – Same as Bedlam.

Tribunal – You HAVE TO be careful with this boss at any point of the game because it might mess up your board if you have level 1 Inquisitor or Knight Statue on the board even at later waves. So what to do when you have level 1 Inquisitor or Knight Statue on the board before Tribunal arrives?

Pray to rng to level up your level 1 units with Scrapper (never works)

Try to get a Portal Keeper for each rank-1 unit on your board so you can protect the rank-1 unit with pk’s shield. Swap places just before the boss arrives. (best option, still depends on luck)

Save up mana that wave so you can rebuild your deck after Tribunal activates (second-best option, still depends on luck)
