Unit Guide: Inquisitor – Rush Royale

Inquisitor has always been one of the best damage dealer units in Rush Royale, but is also one of the hardest units to play.

You need to have a specific number of Inquisitors on your board (1, 4, 7, 10) so that it attacks twice as fast and deals area damage.

Inquisitor Deck Examples

As it is one of the best damage dealers, Inquisitor has a number of decks that work well with this unit.

  • Inquisitor, Knight Statue, Scrapper, Dryad, Bombardier
  • Inquisitor, Hex, Harlequin, Summoner, Mine
  • Inquisitor, Stasis, Harlequin, Summoner, Mine
  • Inquisitor, Knight Statue, Scrapper, Dryad, Harlequin
  • Inquisitor, Cold Mage, Harlequin, Summoner, Mine

You can experiment with a lot of different builds with this unit.

Note

Because Inquisitor is a powerful unit, you ALWAYS want to use a support unit with it so that its damage increases further.

Eg – Cold Mage increases the damage dealt by Inquisitor because it slows units down, allowing more units to clump together, which means that more enemies will be hit by the area damage that Inquisitor deals.

How To Play Inquisitor

The way you play an Inquisitor in Rush Royale will be rather different from most decks that you play.

In most decks, spamming units on the board will increase your damage, but doing this with Inquisitor can easily make you lose the game.

When playing Inquisitor, it is VERY important that you have a decent amount of mana stored up before pressing the spawn button, because you need to make sure that you can spawn many units at a time.

If you have 1 Inquisitor on the board, your next objective is to get 4 Inquisitors on the board and if you are not able to achieve this, you need to go back to 1 Inquisitor.

When you start the game, you want to spawn units very slowly so that you have just 1 Inquisitor on the board. On its own, it will be activated and will clear enemies easily for about 1 minute. Then you want to start making your way up to 4 Inquisitors & 7 Inquisitors thereafter.

1 Inquisitor that is rank-2 and level 3 will be enough damage up until the first boss.

I would not advise going past 7 Inquisitors, instead, work on trying to rank up your existing Inquisitors making them stronger.

Because the damage of each Inquisitor strike increases if you are attacking the same unit, the bonus attack speed you gain from ranking up your Inquisitors helps its damage greatly!

Therefore a rank-2 Inquisitor is more than x2 stronger than a rank-1 Inquisitor.

TL:DR

Generally speaking, you only need 1 rank-2 Inquisitor for the first wave.

Always make sure that you have 1, 4, or 7 Inquisitors on the board.

Always save a decent amount of mana before you spawn any more units.

Remember that Inquisitor damage ramps up while it damages the same target which is very useful for bosses.
