This guide will tell you how to increase your inventory space in My Time at Sandrock.
Inventory space is essential in any game that has a crafting system. A large inventory prevents you from making unnecessary trips back to a storage unit or bank, so increasing it is invaluable.
1. Increasing Inventory Space
Initially, you will start with 29 inventory slots. Increasing your inventory is very simple. Access your inventory and click the + button in the bottom right of the screen. You will be presented with a dialog to increase your backpack slots for a certain number of gols. The amount of gols you need to improve your inventory space is as follows:
Inventory Slot Costs
- Slots 30 – 40 slots: 10 Gols each – Total = 110 Gols
- Slots 41 – 50 slots: 20 Gols each – Total = 200 Gols
- Slots 51 – 60 slots: 50 Gols each – Total = 500 Gols
- Slots 61 – 70 slots: 100 Gols each – Total = 1000 Gols
- Slots 71 – 80 slots: 150 Gols each – Total = 1500 Gols
- Slots 81 – 100 slots: 200 Gols each – Total = 4000 Gols
- Slots 101 – 120 slots: 500 Gols each – Total = 10000 Gols
- Slots 121 – 140 slots: 1000 Gols each – Total = 20000 Gols
2. Storage Knowledge Skill Upgrade
To decrease the cost of your inventory slots, you can unlock the ‘Storage Knowledge’ node in the Knowledge Tree to receive a discount. Each level will reduce the amount each space costs by 5%, so it is worth getting this upgrade before you purchase the more expensive inventory slots.
Note
As the latter inventory slots are costly, you must ensure that you do not waste your gols purchasing unnecessary slots. You could instead use your money elsewhere for more benefit towards your progression.
