Unit Descriptions

Agathe Agathe

Agathe’s main use in King God Castle is in the PvP realm. She has an incredible amount of health, currently the highest in the game. Her skill allows her to take damage from surrounding teammates while reducing the amount of damage she takes. Her better awakened ability will heal surrounding units in a 5×5 range when she dies.

PvE: B PvP: A
Alberon Alberon

Alberon is the best healer in the game, very useful for PvE content including raids. He is one of the 5 Hero Lock characters. Alberon performs well when used with teams that have high amounts of tankiness, or plenty of CC to be able to chip away at enemies while keeping the team topped up with HP.

PvE: B PvP: C
Aramis Aramis

Aramis has the best range in the range and deals incredible damage. There are a lot of builds that you can use around Aramis that makes him very versatile such as the Aramis Gang. I fail to see a team comp that could not benefit from using Aramis. At level 16, Aramis can carry you all the way to King God in PvP with the correct composition. His long range allows him to avoid CC and continuously deal damage.

PvE: B PvP: C
Asaip Asaip

Asaip has very few uses in KGC. She is not used in PvE whatsoever currently, but can perform tremendously in certain Stun-lock PvP builds.

PvE: B PvP: B
Bardrey Baldir

Baldir is a unique druid character that can transform into either a bear or a deer. If you have awakened this character, his deer form is especially effective at helping him survive and dish out a lot of damage.

PvE: A PvP: B
Bardrey Bardrey

Bardrey is incredible when utilized with the correct team composition. Her team mana regeneration can cause huge spikes of healing, damage or CC. She is used in both PvE and PvP A lot of strong meta builds have Bardrey in their composition. She is a Hero Lock character.

PvE: S PvP: B
Behemus Behemus

Behemus is currently a beast in PvP, but pretty bad in PvE. His push back ability, taunt awakened ability with damage reduction makes him incredibly tough to ignore. He makes it easy for melee units to reach the back line so they can deal full damage. And when teamed with teleport units such as Mara or Cain, he can instantly interrupt Hela’s spell cast before she deals huge damage.

PvE: D PvP: A
Bombie Bombie

Bombie used to be an incredible all round PvE and PvP unit before he got nerfed. He is still very useful and mainly used in PvP builds. You need to unlock his awakened ability ‘Mega Bomb’ for him to shine.

PvE: S PvP: A
Cain Cain

Cain is primarily used in Chapter 9 builds in PvE to avoid bombs and deal damage to the damaging units on the back line, but mostly used in PvP. His extort awakened ability will enable you to buff your characters with plenty of items, making them very strong very quickly.

PvE: B PvP: A
Cain Cathy

Cathy deals an insane amount of damage when equipped correctly and support by other heroes such as Luniare or Maro. Her awakened abilities allow to deal either a large amount of additional damage, or heavier AoE damage due to her ricochet ability.

PvE: A PvP: A
Chung Ah Chung Ah

Chung Ah is a great starting character for new players as she can comfortably carry you to Chapter 7/8 with Hero Lock, but her damage and health are too low to make a huge effect beyond this. She is not used in PvP at all.

PvE: B PvP: D
Daniel Daniel

Daniel is a simple but strong PvP unit with a high health pool, similar to Agathe. He becomes a useful stun-bot that is hard to kill, making him quite useful in some PvE situations too.

PvE: D PvP: B
Draco Draco

Draco is a decent choice for PvP, not used in PvE. His ‘Concentrated Flame’ awakened ability turns him into a sustained fire-breathing dragon, enabling him to situationally solo units with his spell drain.

PvE: D PvP: C
esthea Esthea

Esthea is a solid support unit that can heals low HP units within a large area and also buff their attack with pushback. Therefore she is able to provide special CC in specific team compositions to keep the enemy at bay whilst keeping her allies alive.

PvE: B PvP: A
Evan Evan

Evan is an absolute King God for both PvE and PvP content. His is literally Link from the Zelda series, especially with his ‘Unleash Sword Aura’ ability. At max level, his Hero Skill will cover the entire map, and with enough spell power, it can delete an entire screen in one swoop. Coupled with his ranged awakened ability that sends a slash every swing for less damage, he can destroy back line ranged units from far away. When used with mask, 2 evans can wipe the entire screen no problem whatsoever.

PvE: S PvP: A
gidnil Gidnil

Gidnil is a unique Hero that creates spell shields to block enemy spell attacks. The usefulness of his ability entirely depends on the enemies that he will face, therefore at times he will truly shine, else you will find him rather useless as a Hero.

PvE: D PvP: C
Haerang Haerang

Haerang is a stun-bot who is incredibly useful for PvP, but has very little use in PvE chapters. Coupled with other heroes like Mara or Behemus and the enemy will not be able to get a single attack off before you have finished them off. At level 8, you are able to pull his triple stun off just after the match starts, giving you a great early match advantage.

PvE: A PvP: S
Hansi Hansi

Hansi is no longer the queen that she used to be since getting nerfed. She is used in PvE Raid content along with some standard chapter builds that require a ranged dps.

PvE: C PvP: C
Hela Hela

Hela is a strong PvP, PvE unit. She is able to clear chapters with ease using either solo hero lock builds or a Hela gang build using the Rapid Sword Relic. Her AoE (Area of Effect) can annihilate groups of enemies with huge damage no problem. Coupled with her awakened ability in which one of her spell casts will deal double damage, she is a must pick for a large group of units.

PvE: B PvP: B
ian Ian

Ian deal an insane amount of damage. He is a strong melee unit with a large attack radius.

PvE: S PvP: S
Jol Jol

Jol had not been used for any content for a long time, but has now seen light in high level PvP teams as he is immune to CC when he activates his ability.

PvE: D PvP: C
Kanak Kanak

Kanak deals damage towards the target increases the more curses he applies to the target. When awakened, he is also able to decrease his damage taken based on the number of curses on his target.

PvE: D PvP: D
kirdan Kirdan

Kirdan is a very quick, mobile melee unit with a large attack radius on his active ability. When he uses his skill, he is also immune to Crowd Control and gains a huge boost in his movement speed.

PvE: S PvP: S
Leonhardt Leonhardt

One of the best tanks in the early game, but starts to fall off when you start breaching high level team comps in arena or clearing tough PvE content. He is useful in any PvE team comp that requires a tank, but is outshined by many other tanks when they are awakened.

PvE: B PvP: B
Lily Lily

Lily is a Hero Lock character and fantastic at clearing chapter 10 content for a few reasons. The C10 units that shoot beams will focus on Lily even when she falls from Sha-sha while being immune to damage for a short period of time. The C10 units that teleport straight to the lowest HP unit will normally target Lily while she is off Sha-sha because she has very little HP on her own, which means that your damage dealers are protected and Lily is targeted. She is not used in PvP a great deal, but she is a solid self-healing tank.

PvE: A PvP: S
Luniare Luniare

Luniare is an absolutely incredible character when awakened at level 16. She is used in almost every build in the game. She will give you carry’s extra damage bonuses, plus shield, plus mighty blocks, plus speed boost causing your damage dealers to become monsters. As she is ranked up in game, the amount of extra stats she is able to give you increases up to 150%, so it is more beneficial to give her Spell Power and ATK items that she can bless your characters with, as long as they do not need the item effects. She is also a Hero Lock character, meaning you can obtain a high-ranked unit during round 1. A must unit for everybody!

PvE: S PvP: S
Lyca Lyca

Lyca is not used very much currently outside of being a Hero Lock character for PvE. He is strong during the first few rounds in PvP and his teleport stun & high HP can be useful for the team, but Lyca is outclassed by other team compositions.

PvE: C PvP: A
Mara Mara

Mara’s assassination skill boats plenty of damage, stuns her enemy and grants her with mighty block. She is great at taking out single units. Paired with Behemus and the Duo can stun and cause a lot of bother for entire teams.

PvE: B PvP: S
Mano Mano

Mano is a linked character similar to Luniare, that is able to give their linked Hero several buffs. He buffs ATK, heals the unit, grants them movement speed and decreases their damage taken. Unlike Lunaire, he does not increase the spell damage of the linked Hero.

PvE: A PvP: A
Mel Mel

Mel is definitely the strongest character in the game when paired with the correct team composition. She is used primarily in raids to deal huge boss damage, and can clear chapters quite well, but there are definitely better team comps for each chapter that do not involve Mel. Her shockwave stun ability in PvP followed by huge AoE damage can be menacing for enemies in PvP.

PvE: S PvP: A
Mirsyl Mirsyl

Mirsyl is commonly used in both PvP and raid compositions. She is quite strong providing decent sustain for her team during raids, and she can remove CC with her awakened ability in PvP, very useful against stun teams.

PvE: A PvP: A
Neria Neria

Neria is a sniper that deals increased damage and attack speed based on her target’s missing health. One of her awakened abilities also allows her to be undetectable while using her skill Annihilation Time.

PvE: C PvP: B
nibella Nibella

Nibella is fantastic at reaching the back line with her skill, attacking in a large radius. With her awakened ability, she is then able to attack at an even larger range with her standard attacks. This allows for plenty more options when attacking eneies in Arena and Invasion.

PvE: C PvP: C
ophelia Ophelia

Ophelia’s skill attacks the highest tier enemy target within a large range, decreasing the target’s spell damage, whilst restoring her HP. Certain enemies that deal high amounts of spell damage increase her usability in team compositions, rendering her more useless against ATK compositions.

PvE: D PvP: C
Priya Priya

Priya is a stun-lock character primarily used in PvP. She can clear chapters decently with a well-matched team, but the chapter speed will be slow and many other units can clear the chapter just as easily with more damage.

PvE: D PvP: C
Rahawk Rahawk

Rahawk whose rank changes drastically for PvP, depending on who the meta characters are. In PvE, His Level 8 skill ability is used to increase the damage dealt to raid bosses by 10%, making him a solid PvE pick, but does not perform very well in chapters.

PvE: B PvP: B
Ren Ren

Ren is a quick/defensive melee unit, able to quickly dispatch enemies when setup correctly. After using her skill, she can gain up to 2 mighty block (1 per enemy kill) and gains a huge but short boost in movement speed.

PvE: S PvP: A
rie Rie

Rie is a puppetmaster that summons dolls to attack her enemies. Her dolls are able to explode on death, dealing heavy damage in an area when awakened.

PvE: A PvP: B
Rosette Rosette

Rosette is only useful in 1v1 situations, otherwise she is weak and serves little purpose in the current meta. Like Rahawk, she provides a very useful 15% damage dealt to raid bosses at level 16, but you must spend the resources to awaken her.

PvE: A PvP: C
Shelda Shelda

Shelda is an incredible tank for both PvP and PvE when she is awakened. Her awakened ability grants her mighty block when she uses her skills, allowing her to build up even more shield and absorb harmful damage effects. Applying a bunch of Spell Power to Shelda will make her an unstoppable force.

PvE: B PvP: B
taebaek Taebaek

Taebaek is a strong tank/taunt unit with great utility. After taunting, he takes 50% less damage from taunted enemies. When awakened, he is then able to become invincible for a short while, or emit a frontal shockwave.

PvE: C PvP: A
Taesan Taesan

Taesan is a PvP character, used in certain stun-lock teams. His kit can be a bit clunky and his usefulness greatly depends on the positioning of the enemies, the lack of reliability decreases his ranking in this tier list. He is pretty useless in PvE content.

PvE: A PvP: B
Tia Tia

Tia is a fantastic damage dealer in both PvP and PvE with a kit enabling her to deal more sustained damage, or take a more defensive approach without compromising dps. She can kit in many team composition depending on which awakened ability you choose to use. Her ability to avoid melee characters with her skill disrupts the enemy’s positioning, keeping her safe. If she executes an enemy, she will boast massive damage upon her next skill.

PvE: A PvP: A
Yeon Yeon

Yeon is primarily a PvP character that can heal friendly targets and damage enemies. As a healer, Yeon’s skill can be unpredictable to use in a pinch, so it is better to use a more reliable healer. It would be more useful as an instantaneous chain heal rather than a splashing healing wave.

PvE: B PvP: B
Zuo Bai Zuo Bai

Zuo Bai is great in both PvP and PvE. He is seen mostly in Arena as he can attack the back line easily and his damage reduction after using his skill enables him to take a few hits before dying.

PvE: B PvP: B
Zuo Yun Zuo Yun

Zuo Yun is a must-have pick for PvE raid builds. He has incredibly high damage output and attack drain, enabling him to deal high sustained damage without worry of death when attacking tough raid bosses.

PvE: S PvP: B
Zupitere Zupitere

Zupitere can focus on any enemy or tank and her chain lightning ability will damage all the enemies on the back line with ease. With plenty of attack speed with +1 range on the bows, she will easily shred through an entire team in seconds, but she needs plenty of protection.

PvE: C PvP: B
