In My Time at Sandrock, your machines function on water. So if you don’t have any water, your machines won’t run. there are two main ways to collect some water in My Time at Sandrock.
1. Collect Dew Manually
The first method you should focus on is collecting dew. It’s a resource you can get by cutting down bushes like the yak thorn bush, the yellow lavender bush, or the cacti or trees. The problem with the cacti and trees is that you will lose relationship points with that person.
2. Research and Build Dew Collectors
However, this method of collecting dew is unsustainable, which brings us to the second method. First, head to the Research Center with 8 data disks so that you can research the Dew Collector. Then, when you have researched this, you can build the Dew Collector yourself.
After roughly 3 in-game days, you can get the blueprints, then simply create them at your assembly station. Once created, place them down in your yard, and it will start producing dew without wasting stamina.
3. Water Conservation Knowledge
I advise that you unlock both Water Conservation nodes level 2 in the Workshop skill tree. Not only will this reduce the amount of water your machines need to run, but it will also reduce the amount of dew needed to produce water from 10 to 8.
4. Purchase Water
The other way to obtain water is to buy it as Water World. The first 20 units of water you can buy will cost 10 gol. Beware that when you purchase water, its cost increases after buying 20 units on the same day. Therefore, I advise that you purchase only 20 units per day, then wait until the next day to purchase more.
