Mining in Hero Siege is crucial if you want to gain high-level sockets to place into your gear, making your character very powerful.
I advice you only attach sockets to end-game gear, as you should be able to complete all content before reaching level 100 without attaching any sockets quite easily.
It can be skilled from level 1 to 5000.
The ore available is:
- Copper (Act 1-4, normal difficulty)
- Iron (Act 5-7, normal difficulty) – Requires 125 mining
- Gold (Act 1-4, nightmare difficulty) – Requires 225 mining
- Ruby (Act 5-7, nightmare difficulty) – Requires 500 mining
- Jade (Found with Ruby Ore) – Requires 750 mining
Best Locations to Mine Each Ore
Copper Ore (Act 1-1 Normal)
For farming Copper ore, I would recommend the Rat Den on Normal difficulty (Act 1-1). It contains 2 sets of nodes with Copper or Iron ore veins.
By defeating all the enemies in the Rat Den, or in any dungeon for that matter, you will earn rubies in a chest at the end of the dungeon before the exit.
Iron Ore (Act 5-1 Normal)
I recommend farming Fuji Crater on Normal difficulty (Act 5-1) for Iron ore.
There are several copper and iron deposits located in this dungeon on both levels, which should quickly earn you a lot of iron ore.
Gold Ore
Similarly to iron ore farming, go to the same location Fuji Crater dungeon (Act 5-1), but on nightmare difficulty.
Here, you will find an abundance of gold ore to farm and earn it very quickly!
Ruby and Jade Ore
Farming Ruby and Jade ore is a bit more challenging because you need to be in hell mode difficulty for them to occur frequently.
Whilst in hell mode, you must pay with keys to enter the dungeon, which is expensive and not a farmable method.
The best thing you can do is quickly run through stages with many mining nodes, such as the fields of battle, and then mine as many nodes as you can see as soon as possible.
Also, it is essential to note that Jade ore occurs infrequently.
Every time you find a ruby ore node, there is a 10% chance of jade ore spawning in the exact location so you must be very patient when collecting a decent amount of jade ore.
