Introduction
Legendary cards are the most powerful cards in the game.
Their abilities and mechanics are unique, and your entire deck usually revolves around making the most out of your legendary units.
Obtaining legendaries is all about luck. Each time you open a legendary chest, you have a chance to get a random legendary card.
You can get x10 of the same card in a row if you are unlucky!
Trophies
Likely the first place you will receive your first legendary card is through the trophy ladder.
You can obtain a guaranteed legendary at 1950 and 3950 trophies.
When you first start the game, you will earn roughly 30 trophies every time you win a game, which seems like earning your first legendary may take a while.
However, when you start the game, you will only face bots. They’re pretty easy even for a beginner who doesn’t know what they’re doing.
As long as you keep track of why you lose in your games and you’re able to adapt to your weaknesses with cards that synergize better, you should be able to reach 1950 with no trouble!

Season Rewards
As a Free-to-Play (F2P) player, you have 1 chance (3 as P2W) to earn a guaranteed legendary card from a legendary chest after gaining 103 levels throughout a single season (30 days).
This takes plenty of time and commitment within a somewhat short period of time.
If you complete your quests every day, you should have no problem achieving this.
Throughout the season, you will also receive chests that contain magic dust which you can accumulate to earn more legendaries.
Currency
Magic Dust
Magic dust can be obtained by opening a variety of chests (more notably the gold chest), through event rewards, and watching ads at the end of a PvP match.
It takes a good while to earn magic dust, so don’t expect them to be a quick source of obtaining legendary cards.
If you collect 1000 magic dust pieces, you can trade them in for a random legendary card in the Shop.
Crystals (Premium Currency)
The shop contains various chests you can purchase with crystals to obtain different types of cards.
However, I only recommend purchasing the Archmage’s chest for 999 crystals.
You pick between 2 random legendary cards using this method, greatly increasing the likelihood of you obtaining a card you actually need!

Special Offers
‘Special Offers’ (what offers are special in any game these days) will pop in your face as you open the app.
These offers usually contain either random legendary cards or more expensive specific legendary cards.
Events
Most event rewards require you to place first to guarantee a legendary card.
The events in the game currently are, Mirror Match, Rush for Glory & Royal Trials.
The better you perform in these events increases the rewards that you will obtain, meaning that you will obtain more magic dust.
You can turn in 1000 magic dust for a random legendary card.
The one exception to this is the event Royal Trials which is the only way to obtain the legendary unit Robot.
Clan Tournament
The Clan Tournament is a battle consisting of 5 clans.
Each clan will battle against each other so they can earn enough points to reach the end of the goal.
This is achieved by winning games through the clan tournament menu and destroying the opposition’s defenses.
If your clan is the first to reach the goal within a 7-day period, everybody that participated in the clan tournament will earn a legendary chest.
